About the Artist
Michael Bridges is a self-taught artist, who at an early age showed a talent for art. From elementary through junior high school, he drew comic books and comic book characters. In senior high school, Michael was introduced to the art of Salvadore Dali, it was then he decided to become a fine arts painter. Michael's main interest as a fine arts painter is in surrealism. He has won several awards and a mention in "The Artist Magazine" a national magazine. You can see Michael's surreal works

Michael's interest in the arts does not stop at painting, he is also a self-taught musician who has played in bands and who has wrote and performed his own songs. In 1997, Michael went back to his comic book roots, by publishing his own comic book, which you can see here. He has now combined his love for comics and fine art by doing superhero portraits. Michael also has plans to publish a comic book on CD rom which will include some 3D animation, which he plans to do himself.
